Sean Bell and his 'bike...what a poser
I am a photographer living in Calgary, Alberta. I am so lucky to have the Rockies in my back garden. Every day is a new vista and they never get boring. I am also very lucky to have the opportunity to travel the world. My recent trip back to the UK gave me so many tremendous photographs and it reminded me of how beautiful the UK can be in winter. Sure, when it's grey it's grey, but when the sun shines the countryside is a wonderful place.
I have been interested in photography since my teens and I do enjoy the instant feedback from the digital world. I do miss the anticipation of your photos and slides coming back through the post but I don't miss the disappointment of so many bad photos. The mountains and rivers are a natural draw to me but I am looking to develop my eye for Street / Urban and perhaps Portrait photography. I would like to try Social photography...but I am a bit shy to ask and so I back away.
